24th March 2006 Release von FineTime 2.5.1.

This interim release deals with a problem in FineTime 2.5 which prevented changes to the group list.

13th March 2006 FineTime 2.5 is released!

New in this version:

  • School resource data is now imported into the current timetable rather than used to create a new timetable. This means that you can now import new school resource data without having to restart your timetable planning.
  • You may now specify a particular week of validity for a timetable. The dates corresponding to each day in this week are displayed on the timetable view and printout.
  • The window title bar now shows the current timetable file name rather than the school name.
14th October 2005 FineTime 2.4 is ready for download!

New features in this version include:

  • FineTime now allows you to manually schedule auxiliary teachers in addition to the main teacher for lessons which require more than one teacher.
  • Batch printing and export capabilities have been added. You can now print, or export in HTML format, timetables for a selection of resources in a single run.
  • You can now set the paper size and orientation, and the page margin sizes, for both the master and resource timetable printouts.
  • It is now possible to export the master timetable in HTML format.
  • There are now options to allow teachers and subjects to be represented by their defined abbreviations rather than by shortened forms of their full names.
25th August 2005 FineTime 2.3.1 is released.

This interim release deals with the following issues:

  • Teachers with no defined subjects (qualifications) couldn't be exported.
  • Problems with ASDPC export of lessons without assigned teachers.
  • Faulty toolbar respresentation under Windows 95.
  • Spurious error messages when editing resources under Windows 95.
It is not necessary to update to this version unless you are affected by any of the issues listed here.
8th August 2005 FineTime 2.3 is now available for download!

New features in this version include:

  • User definable teaching days (which may include Saturday and Sunday).
  • Improved timetable editing facilities with multiple lesson selection.
  • Enhanced Undo & Redo functions can now reverse changes made by the automatic solver, as well as manual changes.
  • Lessons can be marked as fixed so that the automatic scheduler won't touch them.
6th July 2005 FineTime 2.2.3 is released.

This interim release deals with a problem in FineTime 2.2 which prevented changes to the venue list after any teachers or groups had been entered. FineTime 2.2.3 lets you modify the venue list at any stage in timetabling process.

27th June 2005 FineTime 2.2.2 is released.

This interim release is for the benefit of those who run FineTime under Linux. We have solved a number of library dependency issues so that FineTime 2.2 now runs on SUSE Linux 9.0, 9.1, 9.2 and 9.3. Windows users do not need to update to this release.

10th June 2005 FineTime 2.2.1 is released.

This interim release corrects a bug in FineTime 2.2 which manifested itself when clicking on the resource list column headers to reorder the resources. We apologise for any inconvenience this problem may have caused you.
